roccotool (25), USA Dec 20, 2006 Bottle. Aroma-average like any other pils. Appearance-good. Flavor is excellent and definitely a classic pils taste; hops dark and spring at you on the finish. Bubbly on the palate and better than most commercial brews. I had to score this highly because it beats most mass-produced lagers, and also because it’s an inexpensive import. When a small, old and very experienced brewery from Germany comes in and kicks butt, you have to admire it.
jimmay (47), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Nov 20, 2008 500ml can from LCBO. Colour pale golden. Clean white head, dissiptes reasonably quickly. ’Soft’ taste, for a pilsner. Drinkable. saxo (2521), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Nov 18, 2008 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. Ibrew2or3 (2003), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Oct 26, 2008 Pours clear gold with thin bright white head. It as a very light aroma carrying floral hops, some earthiness and a bit of sweet malts. The taste is crisp and clean with a nice floral to earthy hop bitterness followed by a mild maltiness. A hop forward brew that ends mildly earthy a little dry. sebletitje (705), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2008 Courtesy of cigarcitybrew.
Pours light golden, white head.
Aroma is grainy, just basic pils.
Taste, malty and hoppy, leaves the typcail pils metalic mouthfeel. Not much to go about here.
