Bottle 500ml.

[ As RCH Old Gee Spot ].
ABV: 4.0%. Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, old malt, pale tobacco, earthy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

A dark amber beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is fruity sweet with notes of caramel and honey. The flavor is fruity with notes of oranges and hops and an OK bitter and dry end.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Overripe fruity and toasted malty, somewhat oxidised. Mild herbal and dry roasted malty into the finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Lightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Somewhat unclean malty nose. Slightly watery body with vague accents of nuts and a lightly bitter finish. Easily forgotten - and another bottle conditioned British beer gone amiss. 130806

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with a very small white head. Sweet aroma of malts, spices and fruits. Flavour of fruits, spices and hops.

Bottle, 4.0%. Rough, malty aroma. Cloudy orange colour, no head. Thin mouthfeel and flavour. High bitterness, rough. Earthy aftertaste.

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are burnt caramel, malt, hops and notes of fruits.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2009 Bottle. (Branded Drinks) Pours with a golden body, quite clear, and topped by a small off-white head. Quite malty nose, with a little dusty note, and some caramel and fruit. Would like a bit more pronounced aroma though. The flavor starts quite fruity, with a touch of caramel and a vague note of butterscotch. Medium mouthfeel. Fruity finish with caramel. The beer is nothing special, easy to drink, but a bit boring. Rating: 5-3-5-3-11-2.7. (070906)

Bottle. A next-to clear, golden, sparkling beer with a cute, finger-thick, off-white head. Weak nose with malts and some caramel. Fruity hops too. Mostly hoppy and fruity flavor with the malts in the background. Some bitterness towards the finish. Medium body, quite carbonated, smooth and easy to drink. Pleasant, but dead boring. (081108)

Dark amber, almost no head and a rather flat mouthfeel. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavour is just as anonymous and boring with weak notes of fruit, caramel and a descent bitterness. The bottle says: A stroke of genius - and if this is the fact, then I’ll stop drinking beer!!
