Dry and pale, almost lagerish, with dwarf English hops First Gold. A real ale that still tastes good when chilled.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet combined with a weird acidity, and some kind of herbal note. The flavor is sweet with light diacethyl notes, combined with stronger notes of fruits, like peaches, oranges, and guave, leading to a weird flowery hoppy end. I’m disappointed in this beer compared to the rest of the West Berkshire line-up that I’ve tried.

Cask. Amber colour with a minor head. Aroma is mild maltyness, some mild floral and nectary notes as well. Flavour is rather similar, but has a more grassy bitterness to it. Refreshing, but otherwise quite boring.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Amber beer. Not much of anything. Some hop, some toffee. Actually this got better as I sipped it. I don’t normally like toffee dominated bitters, but this one worked
