Commercial Description:
Cask, Special;
Sometimes known as the Punch Ladle, Fathom the Bowl is an ancient drinking song that covers drinking around the world, quoting cider and beer from England. There is traditionally a toast to follow the song: Here’s to the large bee that flies on high The small bee gathers honey The poor man does all the work And the rich man pockets the money Fathom the Bowl has a reddish hue with a good balance of hops from Kent, Hereford and Worcestershire

Hazy dark amber color. Quite nice aroma; the flavor is better, malty, fruity (apples), caramel, a bit woody. The final is well bitter, with a lot of caramel and light fruitness. A fruity Bitter.

Cask conditioned at Charlies. Dark amber coloured. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruity flavour with a very bitter finish. Nice.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy dark orange beer with a bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and fruit. The flavor is very fruity and rather hoppy, as well as lightly grassy, leading to a dry and very bitter end, where the hops makes them self known with flowery notes. But the body is a bit thin.
