[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy reddish beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has light sulphury notes combined with caramel, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, combined with light notes of sulphur and berries, leading to a dry slightly metallic end. The worst of the five beers from West Berkshire that I’ve had.

Cask condtioned handpull Evening Star, Brighton. Copper colour with thin beige head. Yeast, dry malt aroma, little bit toasty. Good condition, if a little fizzy. It’s a slightly malty best bitter. Condition adds to the hop tingle on finish. It’s a competent if not startling bitter.
