Clear medium to dark amber - red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Deep ambery brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, some toffee, malts and mild earth as well. Flavour is fruits, wood, mild resiny notes with some slight toffee as well.

Cask at the Crispin, Wokingham. Dark magohany with a tight cream head; the body is rather thin with sweet fruit and deeply roasted, nutty, malts; giving a drying finish. Very drinkable.
