Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Brilliant gold with a thin cream head; grassy citrus aroma; bitter citrus flavour balanced by grapefruit sweetness; followed by a long intense bitter finish.

Cask (Market Porter, London)
Rich rusty brown. Cappuccino cake aroma. Soft warming palate. Front taste is the cake again, then some resiny bitterness, and finally a surprisingly burnt bitterness for a non-stout. Very full bodied and punchy. Excellent bitter.
