muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA May 24, 2006 750 ml corked and caged bottle undated but purchased at Table & Vine in Northampton, MA in spring 2004, served chilled in a Christoffel glass. Soft pop when the cork is pulled, and a solid gold, massively bubbly body is generated, with a small fizzy head dying to a lasting thin ring.....lovely primarily sweet aroma, touches of must and wood, vanilla and toffee, surprisingly complex and inviting for the low ABV.....nicely balanced sweet/dry character in the body, primarily sugary and fruity at the front and growing tart and a bit leathery at the finish....soft carbonation, medium-bodied, lightly syrupy. This is what a low ABV sweet cider should be....Woodchuck eat your heart out. Hopistotle420 (1175), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Nov 2, 2003 Still. Golden bronze. Floral, sweet apple nose. Pleasant apple juice taste, nice and sweet. Very nice, tho I wish it was carbonated. vw_steggie (684), Paxton, Massachusetts, USA Aug 3, 2003 Has a yellow/orange color with no carbonation and a sweet apple cider smell.
Taste is of sweet apples and finishes very refreshing. Overall this is the
best tasting cider from West County.
