COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
HOPS! Canniption Pale Ale is a huge beer by Pale Ale standards. While we appreciate a beer with balance and harmony, sometimes it makes sense to GO BIG and let the hops speak for themselves. We add a fair amount of sweet, caramely Crystal Malt to the mash to give it color, and enough body to stand up to the hops which are abundant throughout the flavor profile. Like the hops, the ABV is on the high end for a Pale Ale which just makes sense for a beer of this stature.

Uh, I mean, I guess it’s a regular pale ale. I didn’t taste anything that made me think anything other than "I’m going to a local brewery and I’m going to try there beers. The pale ale tastes like a pale ale." I think that about sums it up.

A fine pale ale. Perhaps it was just that I had this last after a long night, but it seemed a bit bitter and less smooth than other ales I’d enjoyed recently.

On tap at the brewery with TheDude. This was probably my favorite of the night. Pours a deep orangish color with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and pine hops, lots of crystal and caramel malts, Notes of bread. Flavor is a showing of citrus, pine bitterness with some caramel. Notes of doughy sweetness. Medium bodied, somewhat oily texture.

On tap at the brewery, this pours a caramel color into the glass with a wispy head that leaves sudsy ring lacing. The nose is faint, of citrusy wood. Flavors of orange, caramel and nice pine resin finish with a decent bitter back. It has a medium body goes smoothly down the palate. Nice APA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
