draft. massive diacetyl infection with a lot of noticeable defects: aroma and flavor of butter / butterscotch, corn, burnt hair and a gamey / wet animal scent. oily texture with acidic solvent on the finish. goopy malt texture showing a lot of unfermentables. this a beer in such horrendous shape I have to assume the people here have no moral qualms charging money for an obviously faulty beer, or they simply lack the ability to identify diacetyl and dimethyl sulfide. probably a quick boil messed up the beer and then poor equipment management gave it that wonderful boiling-butter-in-a-pan smell and flavor.

Slightly hazy copper with a thin foamy head. Nose is funky fruity with like a biscuity pear tone and bitter grassiness. Taste is a little bitter and a little vegetal out of nowere, with a bunch of dry earthy biscuit. Too bitter overall.

On tap at West Flanders. Pour is hazy orange with a big white head and great lacing. Floral, sweet, grassy aroma - biscuity, bready, and doughy. Sweet, grassy, somewhat musty, almost buttery, bready, and earthy - lightly bitter finish. Medium body with high carb. Bleh.

At West Flanders. Pours a slightly hazy gold orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma is hoppy, bitter. Flavor is bitter and hoppy up front, mildly fruity. With a bitter malty finish and a bitter aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, light body, and a relatively smooth texture. A pleasant, drinkable bitter. (reviewed 2/28/13)

Hazy copper color, off-white head. Hoppy, herbal, bitter taste. Herbal bitter aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, high bitterness. Fruity hoppy scent.
