4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very clear, light orange pour with little head. Tart apple and orange on the nose. Blood orange and passionfruit taste, with a very smooth, silky texture. Ends with a slight hint of apple.

Banana nutty with some yeasty, some citrus in there. Low carbonation and a bit soapy finish. Pretty good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at West Flanders poured a cloudy gold with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of straw, citrus, yeast and light vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, yeast, citrus and light vanilla with a smooth lingering citrus finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewery, it's a gorgeous hazy straw, pillowy-head beauty. The nose had nice integrations of vanilla extract and chocolate candies. Flavors have some vanilla, some light Belgian candi and yeast strains, but it's hindered by the lackluster body and thin mouthfeel. It's just not indicative of a Trippel. A lost opportunity here. This had so much promise, too.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy/opaque golden with a sticky and thick white foamy head. Smells like bready apple-y yeast farts. Thankfully it tastes better with funky earthy blonde grains and pear and lightly toasted bread and lots of earthy yeast. Maybe a touch of vanilla.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at West Flanders. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a big white head and great lacing. Grainy, cereal, somewhat sweet, doughy, yeasty, and fruity aroma. Taste is cereal, grainy, grassy, yeasty, bready, a touch of spice, and fruity esters with a spicy bite on the finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Definitely not a tripel.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
At west flanders. Pours a clear orange copper with a half finger of rapidly settling head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is slightly funky, barnyard, malty. Flavor is mildly bitter up front, caramel malt, fading into slight tart and mild fruity finish. Soft to moderate carbonation, medium body, and oily texture. A unique trippel, though I find myself liking it less each time I have it.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, some slight cracker, hints of grass, slight earth, very slight hint of fruity notes, yeast, and esters in there. Taste is very devoid of esters, spice, touch of grain, grass, slight biscuit, bread, finishing fairly dry, slightly bitter. Eh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
First time to try any West Flanders. Just happened to pop in before they technically opened and try some beers and speak with the brewmaster.
This tripel is nice, with a neat earthy vibe. Aroma of hay and straw, and yeast. Almost a hint of sour smell. Color is yellow straw. Tastes grainy, with a tart unique tripel aftertaste. Good stuff.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap @ West Flanders Boulder. Pours a milky yellow appearance with a white head. Mild lemon citrusy, slightly spicy yeasty, big pils malty aroma. The flavor is again just full of pils malts and much less so on the yeasty and citrus elements. Kind of strange.
