COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg; Regular.
In the style of a Bavarian wheat beer, our Hefeweizen is an authentic blend of wheat and barley malt, hopped carefully and left naturally unfiltered with a clean aroma of banana and clove and a satisfying zing on the palette, topped with crisp, white foam.

Keg at West Brewery. Hazy yellow body with a thick white head that holds well. Excellent lacing. Aroma of grain, yeast, banana and lime. Flavour of grain, coriander, orange, fig rolls and green banana. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. Pretty tasty, but lacking a little in peppery bite.

Draught at the Crown in Biggar. Typical German Hefeizen style beer but not quite as good. Some of the flavours are muted by a slightly over sour taste that comes through on the palate. Plenty of flavour though and quite refreshing.

Pint at the Schooner, Gateshead. Very cold. Cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Usual hefe aroma, but a bit lacking in the usual banana bubblegum and clove flavours - they’re there, but a bit muted. Drier and thinner than most wheat wheat beers I’ve had. Easy to drink, but a bit lacking.
