3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 yespr (20653) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2008
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Mild ctrusy and apple fruity hops aroma. Flavour is crisp and bitter with a nice fruity hops flavour. Light malty and crisp bitter into the finish. Medium dry and slight malty. Crisp hoppy into the far finish. Nice one and a distinct improvement of what I had last for the light version.

Draft at the brewpub. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of malt, butter, and a weird flowery tinge. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt and butter, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Rastacouere (5900) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 25, 2007
Clear light amber?. Thin white cover. Oily and buttery nose of repelling nature. Minimally herbal in its finish. Malt profile is really really bready and not much else. Highly carbonated and fortunately, this cuts through the unjustified sweetness a bit.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 rickgordon (3758) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2007
On draught at the brewpub.
Deep golden colour, low head. Flawless beer without any flavour profile. It’s obviously possible to make a helles even less flavourful than the average of the style.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sigmund (3495) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - AUG 31, 2007
On tap at the brewpub. Deep golden colour, moderate head. Soft and pleasant mouthfeel. Moderately malty aroma and flavour with some butterscotch. A drinkable helles, but no masterpiece.
