On cask at the West Brewery, Glasgow. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel, white pepper and grass. Similar flavours with bready yeast upfront again and caramel, wheat, malted barley and grassy notes. Alcohol is well hidden with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange to brown with a huge, creamy and slight tan head. Aroma is fruity and light caramelish. Creamy mouthfeel. Slight sweet, caramelish and rather hops fruity. Sweet and slight bitter finish.

Mini Cask at home ... Orange with a big foam head ... very fruity sweet hop nose ... sweet soft mellow fruit touch metalic... bit flatter than id like but still some life... very good session ale. packed with rounded flavours.

Perhaps my least favourate of the beers from west. Aroma is a bit minimal with roasted malts and yeast coming through not to much hop character. Taste is again thin yet creamy and coats the mouth but not with much more than light chocolate malts and grassy hops.
