3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear dark amber with a light head cover and a light curtain of lace. Taste begins with a light trace of malt, quickly grows thru the palate into a nice full-bodied caramel malt, then is shoved aside by mild bittering. Easy to drink. Recommended.

It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was sweet malt with a hint of nuttiness. The taste was of toasted malts with lightly floral notes. A little light fruity esters and a hint of grain. A very good amber ale.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2013 Aroma: Toast and caramel with some orange jam. Appearance: Beautiful rusty orange with a solid bone coloured head. Flavor: Has the nice malt presence of the nose, but with a surprising amount of citrusy hops as well. As it warms, develops a nice mellowness that is reminiscent of Bourbon. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall: Nice, hoppy amber, one I buy again and again.
