3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can sent to me as an extra from drfabulous. Brownish-amber pour with a moderate head but very little retention. The aroma shows plenty of toasted malt, that mixes with caramel, nuts, and light floral notes. Easy drinking, simple, and smooth. The flavor offers no surprises: toasted biscuity malt, almond, some fruitiness, and caramel. The carbonation is a shade high it seems. Light hop bitterness is noted on the back end providing nice balance. Not lacking but still kind of boring and limited (it is an Amber Ale, after all). Still, pretty well executed overall.

12oz can. Looks amber. Aroma of pale and lightly toasted malts plus light floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad for the style, but still an amber ale, that came from Lexington KY.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a semi-transparent brownish orange with head somewhere between off-white and light beige that dissipates into thin lacing pretty quickly. Smells malty and a bit hoppy with notes of caramel. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. A solid beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from trade. Thanks! Pours a very pretty bet hue with half finger light cream head. Aroma of nice caramel malts, fruits, and some floral hop notes. Taste is biscuits and floral notes from the hops, slight bitter with a nice malt balance. Light body and somewhat light on flavor but very sessionable. Medium high carbonation. Crisp finish. Not super special but nicely done in the style.

Can via the the one and only drfabulous
Pours an orangish... amberish color with a small but well retained head.
The aroma is quintessential amber ale, sweet, malty... kind of murky but still kind of clean, some toastiness, and some light fig.
The flavor is really rather fruit forward, not especially toasty but with a little bit of toasted caramel. Lightly sweet, clean, & refreshing. Caramel malts are certainly at play here, but they’re well behaved.
