On tap at the brewery. Pretty low score on the site, not sure why. It didn’t live up to my expectation, but only because their IPA is so good. Still, this is a great beer. It takes on almost a different character than the IPA, with a sticky marmelade body. Lots of pine and citrus, as expected, and quite clean. Finish is very zesty and lets herbal notes come out. It’s a fairly malty IIPA, but not so much to the point that the hops aren’t the main focus. A little berry sweetness comes through.

On draft. Cloudy golden orange with a thick foamy head. Aroma of typical PacNW hops, with some sweet malt and fruity yeast esters. Flavor is sweet and malty with a medium hop bitterness and a light alcohol heat. Medium body with a slightly syrupy mouth feel. Decent 2xIPA, slightly sweet and lots of fruity esters.

Growler from friend, orangish color with lofty white head that lasted and left some great lacing. The punch you in the face aroma of the citrus hops was fantastic. You got the same on the first sip and then it quickly disappears doesnt linger. Very nice, very very nice.

Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.
