3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can at home thanks to drfabulous. Pours copper with fizzy white head. Settles to a lace, lots of visible carbonation. Aroma is citrus, fruit, faint toasted malts and a bit of sweetness. Taste is tropical fruit, mango and grapefruit. A bit of earthy undertones. Nicely balanced with some semi sweet malts. Finishes with great bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Fantastic IPA, would love to drink again.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a can. Great floral aroma on the nose.
Minimal head with very fine bubbles. Cloudy honey color.
Good thick mouthfeel with good amount of "hop-attack" to the sides of the tongue. Not overly hoppy.
Decent if you wanted to drink a few of these. Nothing I'd cure a hop craving with though.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From notes. Tasted on 10/21/12 from a 12oz can. Pours clear, bright orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to sticky, average lace. The nose is floral, citrus, and grassy herbal hops with a light bread malt backbone. The flavor is orange zest, herbal, and grassy, nicely bitter, with just enough bread malt to balance. The body is medium and oily with average carbonation and a long pleasantly bitter hops finish.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz can poured into pint glass
The West Sixth IPA pours a partly cloudy orange bronze with a beautiful thick creamy light tan head that lasts a long while. The aroma is strong floral hops with biscuits and caramel. The flavor is floral hops, biscuit and caramel. The caramel is more evident in the flavor than in the nose. Overall this is a lovely IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Frothy and purely "American," this is just one more really good American pale ale. Meaty, milky, cloying and sticky. The hops are wet, piney. Definitely a potential fridge beer if it’s an option. (#5856, 11/12/2014)
