4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can from drfabulous. The pour is a murky amber/copper color with a thick fluffy off-white head. Pine hops in the scent, with underlying citrus notes, caramel malt, and lightly toasted biscuits. Slick and medium-bodied with soft sweet malt flavor underneath herbal, pine, orange and a little lemony hops. It has firm bitterness with a nice dry finish. This is very well put together. It just seems like it has the right amount of everything for a nice drinking experience. Before this I hadn’t even heard of this brewery. Now that I’ve had a little taste I wouldn’t mind trying some more. Thanks, Jeff!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft sample at 2013 Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha festival. Medium amber color, firm hoppy/fruity nose, light body, moderate bittersweet flavor with fruitiness not as prominent as in the aroma. Doesn’t quite live up to the buzz/hype but a good beer nonetheless. Tasted on August 24, 2013.

Overall, a really nice and very drinkable IPA...if this is a new brewery and they are canning this, then they are on the right track.

On tap at West 6th. Clear amber pour with a white head. Mild grapefruit hop aromas. Bold grapefruit and mild citrus hop notes. Just enough of caramel malts to keep her honest. Good mouthfeel and body. A solid little IPA...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap, 2013 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Orange, nice white head. Smells toasty, with some woody hops. Nicely citrusy flavor at first, then a dry, woody finish, with tasty crackery malts throughout. Pretty tasty.
