2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma pine, grapefruit, citrus and caramel. It pours hazy amber with thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Taste is of pine, citrus, herbs, caramel, orange zest and earth. decent bitterness. Palate it has moderate carbonation and leaves a soapy feel on the throat. Overall, its very average for the category. I would like to taste more hop notes and a cleaner finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can from drfabulous. The pour is a murky amber/copper color with a thick fluffy off-white head. Pine hops in the scent, with underlying citrus notes, caramel malt, and lightly toasted biscuits. Slick and medium-bodied with soft sweet malt flavor underneath herbal, pine, orange and a little lemony hops. It has firm bitterness with a nice dry finish. This is very well put together. It just seems like it has the right amount of everything for a nice drinking experience. Before this I hadn’t even heard of this brewery. Now that I’ve had a little taste I wouldn’t mind trying some more. Thanks, Jeff!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft sample at 2013 Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha festival. Medium amber color, firm hoppy/fruity nose, light body, moderate bittersweet flavor with fruitiness not as prominent as in the aroma. Doesn’t quite live up to the buzz/hype but a good beer nonetheless. Tasted on August 24, 2013.

S: Floral, Sweet Malts

Overall, a really nice and very drinkable IPA...if this is a new brewery and they are canning this, then they are on the right track.
