3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
CAN. Thanks, Jcr! Nose is pines, resins, citrus, caramels, toffee, bitter citrus peels. Flavor is citrus, resins, pines, caramels, spruce tips, and floral hops. Fuller bodied end of the style spectrum. Tasty and plenty of hops to go around. Slight lingering bitterness.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Sorry to hear they are getting sued, a font isn’t trademarked afaik. Hazy golden pour with white head. Grassy and herbal hop aromas. Flavor is malty with herbal and earthy tones.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Amazing brew! The first IPA I've had with a strong citrus taste. Can't wait to get my hands on some more of this and hopefully they win their lawsuit with Magic Hat. I kept the can in case they're forced to change the label though.

Nice hop taste but otherwise bland. Nothing jumps out and no hints on ingredients. If you love IPA you can skip this one.

4.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is my favorite IPA. I live in Louisville and most of taprooms I go to have West Sixth IPA on tap and it is very good. But I bought a 6pack and it as not as good. Too sour on the sides of the tongue. So my ranking based on draft beer. I talked to a brewery rep once and he said they use cans because it keeps the beer fresher. The are proud that they are one of few craft breweries the to able to can beer. But I think the can makes it look cheap.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy orange with small head. Aroma is citrusy hops with some pine resin. Taste is a nice blend of sweet and bitter. Finish is very mild with only a hit of hoppy bitterness. The sweetness dominates a bit too much throughout. Mouthfeel is a bit thick for what I’d expect with an IPA; would like more carbonation as well. Overall solid but not something I would seek out. This is sort of a Stone IPA light (which is a high compliment), but really, when I’m drinking an IPA I want it to completely decimate my palate and send me to depths of hop heaven (or hell?), which this doesn’t do.

Solid canned IPA. Citrus, a bit of pine, resin, smooth, not super bitter. Pretty good.

12oz can. Pours a slightly hazy copper orange color with one finger of creamy head. Aroma of resin and pine, with a hint of citrus. Taste is citrus (mostly orange & grapefruit), caramel malt, with a piney herbal bitter finish.
