Great hop aroma. Just floral and somewhat citrus on the nose. Nice malt sweetness that with the hops creates a grapefruit like flavor. Not overly bitter for an American IPA. It’s nice to see a good IPA that’s from Kentucky. After drinking two the hops starts to dominate the palate and the grapefruit becomes more floral.

Can drank in the hotel in Nashville - picked up at Shenanigan’s in Lexington. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a thick, frothy off-white head. Moderate pine in the nose, with touches of ripening citrus, bready malts, a little rind. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of grainy pale bread, light bitter pine, more rindy orange, some jam, faint grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, with more jammy citrus fruits, grainy and bready malts, lightly bitter grass and pine. Decent IPA overall.

12 oz can from I don’t even know when. The pour is a lighter orange with lord of gold shining through and a very hefty amount of sediment. There is a thick white head that froths down to a thicker film and leaves a great lace. The aroma is very sweet. There isn’t a whole lot of hop with this one. Lots of malts and a little sweet fruitiness. There isn’t a whole lot of hop or bitterness, probably due to age. The flavor is much of the same. Lots of malts and a pretty decent fruitiness. It’s not as good as I was hoping for, but I know it’s not as fresh as it should be.The mouth feel is thicker, but well carbonated with a lingeringly sweet malty and lightly metallic finish. I’m not a fan of it at this point.

12oz can from drfabulous. Poured a hazy bright orange/amber with a pillowy super off white head. Aroma is floral hops, honey topped bread, sweet caramel malts, flowers, very light hint of alcohol. Flavor is a bit drier and not as weet. Molasses and caramel, grassy hops, some old citrus and bread crusts. Softer body, light carbonation and a medium mouthfeel. Solid but more floral and sweeter than my normal bitter IPA preference.

Haze. Golden-amber, not a big aroma, but there’s lots of bitterness, vaguely grapefruity, with a fairly pronounced, chewy malt backbone.

Bright orange pour from draft at via vite in cincy. White head. Really hoppy and bitter. Tons of citrus tropical fruit. Good. But very bitter finish

Nothing really outstanding about this IPA. Nice hitter tongue torcher. Floral aromas with a faint white bread finish. Floral, perfume like flavors, bitter grapefruit finish. Not much malts, nice dry bitter mouthfeel.

Can thanks to NeoHippie2, Faintly cloudy amber color with medium sized off-white foamy head, soapy aroma, low carbonation, floral hoppy taste with citrus peel bitterness at the background, medium bitter finish. Decent IPA.

A very good, we’ll balanced ipa. Easy to drink, especially considering the alcohol content. Nice beer.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can, canned on October 10, 2015, poured into a glass. Cloudy orange with small white head. Aroma is nice herbal hops, medium body, lore carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is dank hops, pine hops, some herbal hops, and slightly dry bitter finish. Quite flavorful, but for me.

Pour was full Amber with a nice head. Aroma of pine and strong citrus. Flavor followed and oranges were the highlight with for bitterness. Mouthfeel on par for the style. Solid IPA. Go, Kentucky!
