Great hop aroma. Just floral and somewhat citrus on the nose. Nice malt sweetness that with the hops creates a grapefruit like flavor. Not overly bitter for an American IPA. It’s nice to see a good IPA that’s from Kentucky. After drinking two the hops starts to dominate the palate and the grapefruit becomes more floral.

Can in Lexington, KY. Nice hop and malt balance. Very smooth for a 7% IPA. Tastes of hops, citrus, and pine. Solid beer. Would have again.

West Sixth IPA on tap at the brewpub in Lexington. Medium amber; very slight haze; durable off-white head; very good lacing. Nicely crafted IPA, with enough malt load to keep the ample quadruple hop load from producing too much bitterness. Liked this more as I drank more -- a quality many IPAs lack. Smooth, medium body with well-chosen carbonation.

Draft. Copper with medium white head. Aroma of resinous hops and light caramel. Medium body with pine hops upfront balanced by some malt sweetness and a bitter finish.

Pale yellow with a light very light pine aroma. Mild IPA draught with a minimum hop taste for an IPA. Excellent if you want more than one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Pours a nice golden color, good head, nice earthy hop aroma, hops come in late on the back of the tongue, maybe a tad bit citrusy, finishes clean and dry with mild sweetness. Solid single IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

small, beige head with fair retention and good lacing.Very murky, amber orange hued brew.Nose is a bit floral and a bit more soapy, scented laundry detergent type soap. Body is lightly medium with a somewhat spritzy carbonation. The soapy flavors are a bit much though some citrus and pine come through along with dry malty notes. Somewhat astringent finish, soapy, etc. Literally, leaves a bad taste in yer mouth. Can from NeoHippie2. Thanks Ray!

1st try from West Sixth. Alright, pours an enticing shade of golden yellow. This IPA has some dry, floral aspects on the nose, and these features are duplicated on the tongue. Quite one-dimensionally dry, mild malt to match. Okay. //// caramel, floral, grass,
