Great hop aroma. Just floral and somewhat citrus on the nose. Nice malt sweetness that with the hops creates a grapefruit like flavor. Not overly bitter for an American IPA. Itís nice to see a good IPA thatís from Kentucky. After drinking two the hops starts to dominate the palate and the grapefruit becomes more floral.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Frothy and purely "American," this is just one more really good American pale ale. Meaty, milky, cloying and sticky. The hops are wet, piney. Definitely a potential fridge beer if itís an option. (#5856, 11/12/2014)

Can thanks to Jeff. Pours a nice orange to golden with small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is mild dank hops with some malt coming through. Taste is a little malt forward but then there is a sweet hoppiness with slight orange.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A nice IPA, with a decent hop taste and bitterness. Aroma is top notch. Mouthfeel leaves a bit to be expected and desired. Light sweetness and yeastiness. If they fix the body this is a top notch IPA.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Covimgtonís Wunderbar. Like the Wunderbar, this beer exceeds expectations. At 7 pct it is a bit heavy but otherwise it is a great IPA in the category of being hopped for balance and flavor vs hopped for burning your mouth
