COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For our remix of Stillwater’s Cellar Door, we wanted to expand on the cleansing aspect of the white sage used in the original beer, so we added a number of herbs and spices known for their therapeutic properties. Brett Brux is added at bottling for a funky complexity that will develop over time.

Interesting. Supposedly a remix of the Stillwater Cellar Door (which is exceptional) this brew is a murky pale golden color. Like someone let a glass of lemonade sit in the sun all day. Not as carbonated as I would have liked for a Saison but the flavors were strange yeasty, watered orange juice, brett, and something kind of funky. A cool brew and even cooler label, try it for the summer!

Bottle shared in line at OEC. Pours hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma of gross sage or something plus a weird beer and weird Brett notes. Flavor bad. Average texture. Not a good beer.

Smells like fruity candy. Sweet honey and lemon aroma. Wow - it grabs your nose like nothing else. Very bright cloudy color with fluffy white head. Draft pour at whole foods river east. Spicy, flowery, tropical fruits, raisin, and Orange flavors. Outstanding saison

Bottle shared at RBSDADG 2014. Pours a deep amber orange body with white head and lacing. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of lemongrass, spice, herbal character and bright, fresh yeast.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, milky golden pour with big fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of absolutely chemically floor cleaner, lemon pledge, some slight vanilla, grainy notes into a bit of tart fruit. Taste was significantly better, slight orange, grapefruit, lemon, into milky yeast, biscuit, dough, some slight spicy notes, finishing dry.

Bottle - Sweet, herbal, fruity and flowery with lemon citrus notes. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Sweet and candy like with herbal notes. Interesting but not something I would want again.

Bottle, shared with Grippitis and Parksy. Very hazy yellow, frothy soft white head that retains beautifully. Very herbal aroma, sweet and yeasty, lemongrass, green tea, mint, sarsaparilla. The palate drivers the same intriguing herbal/spicy flavour set, nicely balanced with soft yeast and biscuit malts. Quite unusual but in a positive sense. I really liked this beer.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball a few weeks ago. In my notes as "Westbrook Big Tasty Remix". Clear golden orange color. Thin ring of white head. Loose bits of lace. Really herbal and minty flavor here; basil. Strange, but intriguing. Some belgian yeast; breadiness. Medium-bigger body, kind of slick. Smooth, kind of crisp, lightly soft, light to moderate strength carbonation. Slick texture. Moderate-plus bitter taste, light sweet. Interesting, herbal saison

Tap sample. Poured a hazy orange amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy lemon citrus flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectation where surpassed.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a barely cloudy gold on the lighter end of the spectrum with a small white head. Explosive aroma of lemon citrus, white sage, spearmint, juniper, bretty funk, and sweet and bready malts. Smells awesome. The flavor is a sweeter, more restrained version of the same. Tart and sweet lemon-lime citrus, sage, spearmint, tropical fruits, funk, and sweet bread. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a juicy, lightly tart, funky mouthfeel. Really good, although it doesn’t live up to the initial promise in the nose. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Fun beer.
