Pours pitch black with no light on the edges and a creamy brown head. Huge roasty malt notes on the nose, lots of super dark bitter chocolate and orange rind, a nice citrusy sweetness, a subdued vanilla and caramel note, and it also smells slightly nutty. Very toasty and bitter, lots of huge bitter chocolate and some coffee notes, creamy vanilla, a very nice orange note comes and goes pretty quickly, and then it finishes off with a huge earthy bitter characteristic. Not quite blown away with this one, though it is tasty. I think the orange and chocolate combine to make this a little too bitter for my liking.

65cl bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 30-08-2014.
Bottled: 26-11-13.
In short: a creamy citrusy robust stout.
Pours black with frothy very tan head. Moderate head retention, godd lacing. Roasty, cacao, vanilla, citrusy aromas. Medium body, soft carbonation, viscous texture. Taste follows the nose, vanilla, burnt caramel, cacao, roasty, with some well integrated citrusy notes. Very enjoyable.

Sehr harmonisch. 11/13/11/12/11/11

65 cl bottle @ tiong, bottled 26.11.2013. Thanks tiong!
Aroma has oat, chocolate, some cocoa and malty tones. Flavour is rather delicious with dark chocolate, truffles, coffee, oat, deep roastiness and salty licorice. Perhaps also hints of orange that gets stronger and more tart towards the end of the glass. Unfortunately some rubbery tones and too roasted malt occur too. Still quite nice brew.

650ml bottle from Rosses i Torrades, Barcelona

Bottled 11/26/2013 - Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, hints of orange peel. Taste is roasty and heavy with loads of chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and orange peel. Finish is roasty and fruity with notes of chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Like a liquid version of a Jaffa cake. Quite tasty and balanced.

Shared bottle @ Schouskjelleren. Pitch black body with a fine, lacing brown head. Aroma is totally delicious with dark malt, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor is sweet, smooth dark malt, dry fruit, oranges, chocolate, dry fruit and medium bitterness with a faint hint of warming alcohol. Fine body and good, long lasting aftertaste as well. So incredible smooth and tasty, just delicious.

65 cl bottle. Bottled on 26.11.2013.
Pours black color with a small beige head. Nice roasty aroma, vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate and wood. Roasted malts and chocolate on the flavor, orange, vanilla, cocoa, faint wooden notes, like drinking Jaffa Cakes. Short, dry chocolaty finish. Great balance, heavy yet complex. Excellent brew.

650 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, biscuit, dark chocolate and licorice. Rich flavour of roasted malts, orange marmalde, dark chocolate, mudcake, licorice and biscuit. Did they use Jaffa cakes here? Full bodied. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Oh wow, this is good.
