4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle... Poured copper-orange with a thin head. Nose had a huge amount of brandy character. Nice tasting, apple brandy, oak, booziness. Also malted grains, bread, a big amount of sweetness with faint yeast notes. But that brandy really over-powered this beast.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared at the Richmond Industry Gathering. Huge props to whoever brought this.. Pours a hazy golden color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bread, whisky, butterscotch, faint wood. The taste is wood, soy, brandy, peppery notes and bready malts. Full bodied, a little rough, but otherwise excellent.

Thanks, Chris! Thanks, Chris! Brandy and some oak. Light alcohol. A bit heavy oak in flavor. Moderate booze. No real tripel underneath.

The beer is orange with a thin head, appearing mildly hazy. The aroma brings a touch of fruity malt, oak, yeast. The apples and booze emerge much more in the flavor than the aroma. A tad tart in the finish. Pronounced oak presence throughout. Sweetness from the brandy. Booze presence is there but not a barrier to enjoyment. Overall, this was tasty, albeit in small quantities.
