Our favorite double IPA’s are all about citrus flavors, so with our Westbrook collaboration we wanted to pack as much grapefruity. hoppy goodness in there as possible to further bolster the hop profile. The addition of fresh grapefruit zest took the labor intensiveness of this beer another level but we think it was worth it and hope you do too! Cheers! Scott, Rich, and the Westbrook Crew

Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a lofty off white head. The smell is caramel malt, citrus, fruit. The taste is a balance between caramel and citrus/fruit ending slightly bitter and dry. Full body with nice fine carbonation.

Une très belle IPA double, bien ronde en bouche, avec de belles notes d’orange, de citron et de pamplemousse. On retrouve l’amertume des IPA tout en ayant un côté un peu plus sucré et une texture un peu plus huileuse qu’habituellement.

Bottle from Bierkompass. Cloudy orange color with a big white foamy head. Grassy citrus aromas, grapefruit, limes and malt. Also some sweet honey, giving this beer a very likeable plate of aromas. Both hops and malts go down a long way my tongue, very intensive hopped beer with awesome fruity notes. Got a much stronger malt backbone than I expected, giving the beer a full body. Tastes of honey are a great addition to the dominant citrus and grapefruit aromas. Those stay well in balance with the upcoming malt tastes which are strong, but dont overpower the floral notes of the ale. Sticky, and throughout refreshing mouthfeel with a long bitter finish. Carbonation gives the beer the needed freshness without being recognizable on its own, which gives the hops much room to unfold. Lovely sweetness defines the otherwise citraic fruityness, with warm, breadish malts. Intense, grassy hop bitterness remaining very long.

Keg in Craft Clapham. Hazy peachy looking amber with a thin white foam head. Nose and taste is strong citrous fruit, musty, sweet citrous peel marmalade, juicy orange, minerally, citrous rind, bitter citrous hop. Fruit forward, bitter hop double IPA.
