COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our favorite double IPA’s are all about citrus flavors, so with our Westbrook collaboration we wanted to pack as much grapefruity. hoppy goodness in there as possible to further bolster the hop profile. The addition of fresh grapefruit zest took the labor intensiveness of this beer another level but we think it was worth it and hope you do too! Cheers! Scott, Rich, and the Westbrook Crew

Bottle from Charleston Beer Exchange just after release. Color is yellowish gold with nice thick white head. Aroma is all citrus hops with strong grapefruit. Taste follows with strong citrus notes. High alcohol is nicely hidden by the malt and hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy. The extreme citrus notes of this beer are really nice. Really good DIPA.

650ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Vika, shared at a tasting session with Elisabeth, Stefan and Jan Erik. Unclear golden body to a steady, finger-thick white head leaving spotty lacing down the glass. Perfumed floral aroma. Mid-sweet flavours of peach, grapefruits and juicy malts. Citrus shells to the finish. Integrated alcohol. Quite alright, not outstanding in any way (Tårnrommet, Tromsø 15.12.2014).

Old rating. Remember this being a nice bright DIPA. Orange colored. Big grapefruit and tropical nose with the citra popping. Taste had a little more bitterness but was still fruity and juicy. Good stuff.

from Erzbierschof - pours a cloudy orange beer with a moderate foam left; correct lacework though; strong resiney hoppiness with notes of orange peels, citrus and candied apples; full-bodied, some malt sweetness and a solid bitterness, light oily and long fruity hoppy finish with more grapefruity and resiney tones; light soapy

Bottle. Pours yellow with a nice creamy head. Aroma is nice crisp citrusy hops with peaches and a whiff of brett. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is hoppy and bitter with orange, lemon peel and apricots, with a tropical hoppy finish.

Bottle... Pours mostly clear and deeply golden with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. There are loads of grapefruit resin and spicy hops in the bouquet. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor is rindy and bittersweet. Lengthy, bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy deep blond color with creamy head, nice lace. The most prominent aroma is cereals; but that is also a sign of unfresh IPA. The malt flavor is nice, with moderate fruitiness and sweetness; it also has a decent hop character, fruity; light cereals.
It doesn’t appear to be at its prime.

1pt 6 fl oz bottle. Sparkling cloudy golden. Tall fluffy off-white head. Dusty aroma with grapefruits and bread. Floral. Rich and soft malts. Nice citrusy flavour with sweet malts. Smooth texture. Bitterness. Hoppy bite balanced by rich flavourful malt. Quality Double IPA.
