3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Mini-growler from the Piggly Wiggly, North Charleston. Nice dark brown pour, very rich carbonation with mild chalky sediment. Chocolate malts in the nose with an understated roastiness and mild bitter notes. Medium bodied, fairly lively without being overdone. Bitter and grassy in places without losing the density and richness of the chocolate character, and sharp in the finish where it needs to be. Well done overall, and nicely tasty.

The taste is toast, light roast, earth, coffee, spice, light treacle and nice level of bitterness with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. A pretty tasty Schwarz.

Draught @ Brickstore. Super roasted malts with a nice smooth mouthfeel. I could see coming back to this again and again.
