A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

[Can (12oz)] Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a large frothy off-white head and some lacing. Nice resiny and fruity hop aroma, a bit herbal and bready as well. Flavour’s hoppy and fruity and a bit herbal -- simple but pleasant. Moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied. Really good stuff.

A very strong citrus rind aroma and taste permeates this brew. It’s also got some other subtle characters as well. It’s also not extremely bitter, which makes it sort of summery. I like this one.

In the can @ home. Thanks to jcnielsen for sending. Hazy bright orange appearance with a foamy, creamy colored head. Caramel, bread, earth, and citrus in the nose. A lot of chewy malts. Moderate to high bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruits are pervasive in the flavor. Some candy / smarties notes. Decent.

Can at home. Pour is hazy copper with a big cream-colored head and great lacing. Orange peel, grapefruit, bready, somewhat husky, caramelly, doughy, and goopy aroma. Taste is bitter fruit peel, bread, light lemon, oranges, grassy, and husky with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Mediocre IPA - it’s getting harder and harder for an IPA to wow me these days.

Can - light copper with a moderate haze - frothy, moderate lace/head - nose of moderately sweet, bready malts, serving as a base for lightly peppery, mildly citric, grassy, woody/earthy hops - soft carbonation, medium body - the bready malt base is fairly simple, allowing the hops to be showcased well, but their bitterness and acidity are abrasive at times - flavors of citrus, pine, watermelon, grapefruit - finish is spicy/peppery - it’s an okay IPA in a sea of okay IPAs.

Can from Columbus Beverage. Pours a hazy, medium golden color. Good level of head that lasts. Aroma is balanced with sweet, caramel malts and grassy, piney hops. Hints of tropical fruit as well. Not the most bold aroma. Taste is balanced malts / hops. Sweet initially with caramel malts, transitioning into a hop mixture with both pine notes as well as tropical fruit notes. Moderate bitterness. Palate is medium body, medium carbination. Good lacing on the glass. Pretty good IPA, very well balanced. Id say it leans more towards a pale ale, since the hops don?t seem to be the focus here. Very drinkable and enjoyable, but not the most aggressive IPA.

On tap @ Les Fleurs du Malt (Lyon). Hazy golden with a frothy diminishing off-white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is of citrus (mostly grapefruit), resinous notes, malt and light floral presence. Taste is slightly/moderately bitter with juicy citrusy hops and resinous notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Sticky bitterness. Good refreshing IPA. Still fresh despite being consumed in Europe. High drinkability. Tasty.

Bright, nice IPA. Bronze pour big head. Aroma of biscuit malts and lots of grapefruit/orange. Caramel malt with nice resinous pine, pear, more grapefruit. A little dank too. Fairly chewy mouthfeel. Pretty good.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours golden orange with an ivory head; plenty of lacing. Incredible aroma - bright citrus, fruit and floral hops. Nice juicy taste. Grapefruit bitterness with a light malt in the background. Bitterness dries out the tongue in the finish and leaves you with a bit of spice. Medium body, carb is slightly foamy in the mouth. Overall, a well done IPA.
