12 oz. can at Natifest. Pours a dark golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor are earthy, grassy, some mild fruits and a base of dry pale malts. Light toasted caramel. Decent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden hazy color with a thick white head. A little more sour than I've tasted in other IPAs, rather than bitter. Still pretty tasty, however.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Charleston Beer Works. Pours a mostly clear gold with rising carbonation bubbles and a small white head that leaves some lace. Aroma of very sweet malts, fresh hops (the blend seems to slightly muddle individual hop characteristics), candy, and butter. Flavor follows suit but I can pull some grassy and floral hops out. Light body, medium carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel that starts more sweet and finishes more bitter. Good IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz canned Nov 27, 2012. Served at around 45F.
Pours lightly hazy amber, on the dark side for an IPA, with a one finger off-white head that leaves some lacing and recedes to a small cap.
Aroma is apricot, a touch of citrus, lemon, some resinous hops, good amount of malt, particularly sweet bread dough, some caramel. Good strength, but rather malty and the malts and hops clash a bit.
Flavor generally mirrors the aroma, apricot, light citrus/lemon, resinous hops, sweet bread, caramel, moderate sweetness, mild to moderate bitterness, minimal alcohol.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, moderate carbonation.
This really, really reminds me of a hoppy Amber Ale, not so much an IPA. And it’s pretty fresh too, just 3 weeks old. A letdown.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark straw color with big off white head. Aroma is pretty big on citrus. Opens sweet with a solid malt background, then the citrus and dank hops set in, finish is hoppy but not overly bitter. Very nice IPA.
