COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

Can from Kihoskh @ home, 9/5-15.
App: Mostly clear except for a slight mist by small particles, copper golden, big nice shiny bubbly off white head that lace.
Aroma: Nice mix of juicy floral and grapefruity hops and marmalade caramel and oily pine needles. Nice!.
Taste: nice balance of marmalade sweetness and bitter juicy hops. Grapefruit, peach, oranges, floral, bright caramel and a nice marked piney zesty bitterness.
Palate: medium body, soft carb, oily and soft.
Overall: Very nice.

330ml can (thanks martjoobolut). Hazy amber color. Huge size, fluffy white head, stays. Sweet, fruity, citrus, mango in aroma. Mango, syrup, sweet, dusty in taste. Sweet fruity aftertaste. Soft bitterness. Soft carbonation. Despite of being sauna warm quite pleasant.

Orange with small head. Aroma is dominated by walnuts and is spicy and pungently hopped. Nettles. Nuttier taste. Sweet smooth palate, full. Plenty of bitter hops in the finish, a bit vegetal. Past its best before, but I’ve had a few westbrooks (some several times) can extrapolate backwards, and I don’t think I’d have liked it much more. Rounding up the scores to compensate.

3/6/2012 3:50:03 AM Can from the Bierkoning. Nice light amber body with big head. Nose is plenty of fruits, especially grapefruit and very hoppy. Taste is very nice fruits and hops. Really smooth and well-rounded texture. Also cool to rate my first beer from South Carolina.
