A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

Keg at the Blind Tiger, NYC, 25/11/13. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric hops, soft breas dough, orange peel, grass, lemon sherbet, light grapefruit. Taste comprises citric hops, light pine, grapefruit, orange sherbet, citric dipped straw, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy citric closure with moderate hop bitterness. Decent - a well rounded and drinkable IPA.

12oz can I picked up at Superstar Beverage. Pours a clear orange with some sudsy white head. Nose hits you at first with a lot of green hop pellet, some candy, a little faux orange, commercial honey, some herbs. Flavor is very sweet, malt, honey, the soap and pine come in but the sweetness sort of overwhelms. Lightly prickly, sweet finish. Eyes closed, not sure I would think this was an IPA.

Really straightforward IPA. Dry, Easy drinking. Pleasantly hoppy, but not especially aggressive. If this were my local, it’d be a regular purchase.

Can from Valhalla’s Goat. Enjoyed on the train between Queen Street and Haymarket. Drank straight from the can, so I can’t comment on its appearance - I’ll just give it a 3/5... Aroma of tangy citrus, pink grapefruit, plastic and pine. Tastes much lighter than its 6.8% ABV suggests. Flavour of bitter sparkling water, sharp lime and blood orange. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. A true hop bomb - as close to ’hop juice’ as it gets. Lovely stuff.

A very nice ipa. Pine hop bite to start. Light sweetness ending with green pine cone earthiness. Lasting head which starts with big to small bubbles and head. NiceoverLl. Glad it’s under 7 abv.

Draught at Bomboras, Hilton Head. Nice, hoppy IPA with a bit of a "citrusy", but clean finish. -via BBapp

12oz green can from Icehawk poured a hazed orange body under a dense frothy off white head that lasts and lasts, rather nice. Aroma of citrus, Clemintines, light lime and some lighter tropical fruits, dry medium toast with orange marmalade. Body is dry with average stong carbonation and a lighter hop bitter finish and lots of creaminess, once again rather nice. Flavor is a bit better than the aroma, notes of dry citrus grains, orange slices, lime zest, grains, cereal, toast. Really good stuff overall here.

I like the aroma but not very strong. This looks like what a pale ale should look like. Pale! Don’t let the color fool you . This IPA has a bite

12oz can from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy yellow amber, massive foamy head. Big biscuit pine hop aroma. Resin biscuit flavour - surprisingly weaker than aroma. Dry hoppy grapefruit aftertaste. A bit watery. Start is better than finish.
