COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

12 oz. can, sent from mwgroove23 (thanks Mike), pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Quite aromatic with notes of piney and resinous hops, and a thin crackery malt backing. Flavour brings out strong notes of piney hops, a little citrus, a little floral and just enough biscuity malt to back. Very well-balanced, with just enough malt to provide body. Finishes on very piney hoppy notes with little astringency. Exceedingly drinkable. Wonderful stuff.

Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is very fresh, lots of hops, pine needles, leafs, hay, newly cut lawn. Taste is soil, bark, lots of hops, pine needles, wet leafs, minerals, cellar, newly cut lawn, caramel. Longlasting bitterness, a little dry mouthfeel. Taste is not my favorite direction of an IPA.

12oz can, avocado green. Pours cloudy orange, khaki colored foam. Smells of pine hops, florals, honey, sweet caramel malts, toasted grains. Ale yeast flavor, can-conditioned. Lingering hops, high alpha bitterness. It may have been an old can, exposed to too much heat... (3713)

Poured into a glass from can, citrus aroma hits you straight away, amber colour slightly hazy, intense bitterness yet quite smooth. Great IPA!

Drank from can, but from malty taste guessing colour is amber. Citrusy bitterness along with malty sweetness

Hazy golden, small head. Citric grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Lemon and bitter orange, notes of menthe. Mid bitter finish.

Pours cloudy orange/amber w/ 1" creamy off-white head. Cirus fruit, pine and grass aromas mingle with a malty sweetness. Rounded mouthfeel and med body, almost syrup. Despite hoppiness it finished sweeter than expected. Caramel malt, banana balances well w/ pine/grapefruit bitterness - alcohol is well hidden. Excellent IPA.

Nicely bitter and astringent - with a good strong "bite" - Balanced with a juicy, citrus, resin taste (and aroma). Just a gorgeous IPA. (Draft, at The Local Pub, in Athens.)

Outstanding aroma with some fresh fruit, caramel, and pine. There is a nice deal of grassy hops in the flavor, which remains pleasant throughout. My first encounter with this South Carolina brewery, and there is nothing to complain about here.
