A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

12 oz can. Pours a hazy light copper with a thick frothy ivory head. Tons of sticky lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine hops. Very dry and bitter. Thinner body than I imagined. Citrus rinds, pine , resin, and a faint hint of cereal in the back. Not much to it and not complex at all. Just upfront dry bitter. Not very enjoyable.

Pint on tap. Clear dark gold beer, medium lacing, small head. Nice medium aroma, fresh and hoppy. Taste and aftertaste are just OK. It finishes relatively clean and isn’t too overdone with excessive hop oil, but it fails to impress all the same. The bitterness is there, but not enough malt to balance it, in my opinion. Piney, but not particularly aromatic, floral, or complex -- I disagree with the deScription above. Good, not spectacular.

fresh can from beechner224 pours golden amber with slight floaties and an amazing lace coating. nose pops of hops, resin, pine and citrus right from the start of opening the can. one of the most aromatic beers i have had in a while. Hops continue in the mouth from beginning to end with wisp of malt, slight bitterness. body is light. MOAR please.

Can. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a moderate white head on it. Nose has a lot of hoppiness coming off it, with some great floral and citrus notes in there. Taste was quite bitter to me, and tasted very fresh and pleasant. Very nice. Glad I picked up a sixer.

A slight haze to a golden pour. Small white head with plenty of lacing. Hoppy aroma. Some fruity cereal in there as well. Taste is a citrusy hop flavor with a bit of malt and cereal in the back. Not bad at all.

Citrusy and piny taste and aroma. Good carbonation. Dry but a little sweet finish. Simply not bitter enought.

Pours a hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Nice aroma of pine and citrus. Taste does not match the smell. Disappointing. Tastes kind of like there is a rotting orange in there somewhere. A little oily. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep beautiful gold with a thick white head. Good retention and lacing. Lots of citrus and tropical fruit on the nose. The palate, much like the nose, is all about fruit with notes of pepper and a solid malt backbone. Finishes dry with a hint of bitterness. Light bodied and moderately carbonated, very refreshing. Overall, if this isn't the best IPA from the SE United States, it's in the top two! Great job, Westbrook! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Obtained in trade with icehawk, thanks again man! Pours a clean yellow orange with a nice white head that reduces to a film quickly. Smell is pine, resin, white wine, and grapefruit. Taste is not quite what I expected, not much bitterness. Grapes, pine, and really mild bitterness. Finish is very dry with decent carbonation. I have been impressed with Westbrook so far.

(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of white grapes and grass, quite leafy, with a hint of banana and white bread. flavour is heavily resinous, with a hint of caramel and peppermint in the slightly minerally light-bitter finish. light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation.
