COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

0.33l can. Lots of head on this one! The pour is dark deep orange, really cloudy in the glass and the big head is lasting, nicely lacing, almost fluffy and off-white in color. Nice fresh hoppy nose with lots of peachy fruitiness. Some citrus, mandarins and grapefruit with traces of vanilla and zesty yeast smells absolutely nice. It has definitely been used some hops in this beer. Lots of dark almost earthy grassy bitterness. Not as fruity as the aroma, more pine and woodwork. It has a good oily mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. A bit mineral earthy in a way. Itís also slightly mouthdrying in the finish and aftertaste. Absolutely drinkable, but not a perfect score in the IPA table in my book. 01.06.2013

Can from The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Hazy amber colour with thickish lasting off white head. Itís certainly got a hoppy aroma. A little tinny metallic oxidised hop that has nothing to do with the can container but to do with the freshness of the hops. Typical American IPA we get here in the UK where the hops just arenít fresh enough. Some caramel and metallic flavours. I mean itís probably a good beer at source, just a bit difficult this far away. the mouthfeel is good. bitterness on finish is good. just I would imagine fresh itís stunning. This is good but not at itís finest I would say.

Can courtesy of CraftBeerDesign (thanks Geoff) poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit zest, pine and a hint of lemon zest. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit zest , light pine and a hint of orange zest with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2015 Can, can date 20130529. Hazy copper with a medium sized off white head. Good retention and lace. Caramel, peach, light pine and toffee in the nose. Flavour has lots of pine and pinewood, white bread, caramel. Medium sweet with a good dose of bitterness without being too much. Very pleasant.

Tried it again on can. This time I find it too sharp (citrus, garlic hop notes) and heavy on sugar without many nuances. Not remarkable.

First few drinks give off an odd off-flaovr. After that it is an herbal and zippy type ipa. Can was just under a month old. Wasnít the hugest fan.

Can. Pours hazy golden with a diminishing frothy off-white medium head. Aroma is pine, mango, juniper berries, tangerine, light grape, biscuit malt. Taste is moderate sweet, bitter and light sour. Body is light+, texture is oily, carbonation is moderate. Finishes balanced, bitter with light astringent juniper. The bitter and sour juniper notes seems somewhat off.

Can picked up in Augusta, GA. Pours a golden color with white head. Hoppy, grassy, resiny aromas. Grassy, earthy, hoppy, and some breadiness in the flavors. Pretty hoppy.
