A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

Some cans from a trade. Pours a bright yellow orange color with a thick white foamy head on the pour. Settles with a thick lacing layer. Great nose of orange juiciness and fresh hop bitterness. Crisp freshness and nice carbonation. Citrus flavors and sharp hops fill this one. Very drinkable and refreshing. Would definitely be a go to if I could. Solid.

Can. Hazy orange, decent foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is floral perfume, grape juice, baby food, maybe pineapple, something sour - solvent? Body is medium, tingly carbonation, pretty smooth. Taste is piney, light satsuma, a little earthy, soft bitterness. Very easy drinking IPA.

Pours a hazy to cloudy sunny golden-orange with a thick, tight, rocky off-white head that settles fairly quickly to a thick ring/film leaving some intricate foamy lace. Nose involves hearty orange citrus and ripe peach, some supporting pine resin, some grapefruit, some toasted malt and dusty yeast. Some sweetness, light citrus tartness, and a predominant yet somewhat restrained bitterness. Medium bodied, quite oily, fair action, bright, with a lengthy citrus hop bitter finish. A very nice IPA, absolutely drinkable yet with substance. Loving the citrus-forwardness of it.

12 ounce can
Another top notch present from buffalohead proves that Westbrook is more than just a one trick (or one style) pony. A full bodied East Coast IPA would be perfect for any occasion where you cant bring bottles. Even out of the can it tastes better than 80% of the other IPAs available.

Aroma / Appearance - A creamy vanilla head bobs above a surface of opaque bronze liquid. The color of a dusky sunset, it radiates warmth. Lawn clippings, grapefruit, and vibrant hops glaze the air with bitterness. The scent of spicy floral bouquet hovers like fog.

Flavor / Palate - A bitter shock of oranges, Twix caramel, and dry maltiness worms its way into the corners of the palate. The transition contains semisweet yeast and weedy bread dough. A full bodied finish carries all the way through to the back of the throat. It was no struggle to finish this can in less than twenty minutes.

Cloudy light amber colour and a white lasting head. Aroma - citrus hops and sticky malt and marmalade. Taste - sweet malts balanced by a good bitterness that isnt too overpowering. Plenty of citrus hops and tropical fruit notes. Very drinkable. Could session a few of these!
