3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can at Olympen
Golden hazy, big tanned head. Takes ages to pour because of the carbonation. Smells of citrus, zests, some fruits and pine. Good sweetness and malty taste, turns to a nice hoppy finish, i find alot of resins and citrus here. Medium bodied. Totally this is more of a westcoast style ipa

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange with small head. Aroma is dominated by walnuts and is spicy and pungently hopped. Nettles. Nuttier taste. Sweet smooth palate, full. Plenty of bitter hops in the finish, a bit vegetal. Past its best before, but I’ve had a few westbrooks (some several times) can extrapolate backwards, and I don’t think I’d have liked it much more. Rounding up the scores to compensate.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From site: A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.
