COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

The pour produces a hazy, dark yellow body with a chunky, off-white head. Piney hop aroma. The flavor profile is lightly bitter from the start all the way through the long finish. Malts are there but they let the hops star.

This brew has got the "works"! It is the only beer that I am not ashamed to serve to myself-and others of-course- from a canister. As I opened the can a heavenly quiff attacked me oh-so gently. Oh the aromas, were can i start. Simple. The best IPA I have had so far. A nice deep platinum color and amazing amazing gradient guidance in the glass. It poured heavenly and oh-so fragrant. What I call a Decent Lace that makes your glass nice and sticky. A beer that really lightens your heart and allows you to have an awesome night. IPA will Save the WORLD Hopheads UNITE

Fantastic west coast IPA from the east coast. I love the floral hops, the citrus nose, and the grain bill balance. A beauty

Cloudy light brown with lightly yellow fastly growing after some delay cap, which stays quite long. Nice carbonisation on the tongue top and refresing vitterness on the root.

Dark amber with small white cup, fruity mild IPA taste with sweeten bitterness on second part of tongue. Canned.

Wow..what an amazing IPA. Super fresh and hoppy. Mango, citrus, pine, grass all together with a fresh aftertaste. Amazing.

Strongly hoppy, evergreen aroma promises a great IPA to satisfy any hop-head. It pours a smewhat hazy golden amber with a pale orange-tan head. Sipping this beer is like drinking a pine tree - it is seriously hoppy, mildly bitter, with an undertone of grapefruit. Texture is fairly fizzy and leavs a nice hoppy tingle.

Tried @ Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Slightly unclear medium orange color, full white head. Smell hops, citrus, grapefruit. Taste hops, lightly pine, bitter, resin. Full body, medium to full carbonation.

Poured from twelve ounce can purchased at Growlers in Hilton Head Island SC and tasted on July 13, 2012. Cloudy gold hue, small white head, nice sweet hoppy aroma with definite grapefruit notes, delicious bittersweet flavor with grapefruit being present in the taste as well as the aroma. This beer has a bold presence without being overwhelming. This brew would be nearly perfect if the hops were just a tiny bit more assertive but that’s a very minor quibble. I would love to try this on draft. A world class IPA.

Growler at Greenville Beer Exchange for $11 A: Pours a cloudy hop-hazed dark copper color with a big fluffy off-white cap. Retention is excellent S: Whoa, really different from anything I’m used to...Overripe apples (almost smells like rotten apples in a good way if that makes sense), lots of citrus, and a subtle mango note. Really different nose - not "bright" by an IPAs standards, but certainly hoppy... T: Again, rotten apples, orchard fruit, citrus, a little more mango. Very well balanced and citrusy overall. Perfecty balanced with a slight sweetness MF/D: Great level or carbonation, medium feel, alcohol is not noticeable. Very drinkable, it really grows on you Notes: First beer from Westbrook and certainly not my last. Absolutely awesome beer in an interesting and very different way. Highly recommended
