Westbrook Jalopy Crop Duster

(Rating #7,800) Growler... Mostly clear golden ale with a small, flimsy, white head. The aromatic highlights include juicy peach, spicy, floral, grassy hops and a hint of bread dough. Full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and busy carbonation. The flavor offers sweet cookie and doughy malts balanced nicely by spicy, floral, tropical fruit bitterness. Finishes crisp and bittersweet with a snappy, grassy hop bite. Warming, but not boozy. This is the way tripels are supposed to make me feel… happy - enlightened - excited about beer. Other than Avery Nineteen, this is the first tripel I have actually enjoyed drinking for as long as I can remember. Westbrook nails another style... a style I normally despise.
