Bottle @ Zach’s house. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a thin cream colored head. Caramel, toasted malt, biscuit in the nose and lots of herbal notes. A little spicy flavor with lots of dough and light citrus. Fizzy carbonation. Ok.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy orange, with a big, frothy, beige head. Caramel, oranges, coriander, light floral hops, and sourdough. Bready sweetness, with a light bitterness. Light body, chalky, a little sharp, and astringent. Overall, this is a nice, flavorful, and dangerously drinkable beer. Mellow, balanced, and well done.

Draft at Westbrook. Burnt orange pour with a frothy white head. Toasted bready aroma, light caramel, toast, floral and grassy hop aroma. Flavor is similar, with a sort of toffee flavor and much more of a pronounced Noble hop character. Clean easy drinking with a nice bitterness. Good stuff.

Gusher. Under the six inch light khaki head is a hazy toffee colored liquid. The enormous head is slow to fall. Lacing. Buttery carbonic aroma. Taste is buttery as well. Caramel. Dry. Carbonic. Infected.

22oz bottle. Light amber color. Aroma of toasted malts, lagered smell. Oaked essences of vanilla. Flavor of vanilla oak, toasted grains, grassy hops. ABV is accurate, overall finishes like an Imperial Oktoberfest. Tastey. I’m favorite Westbrook, so far. (4119)

22 ounce bottle - $6.48 at Sherlock’s in Marietta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, amber-orange body with a finger and finger only of white foam.

Smell: Sweet accented bready, softly toasted malts with a slender waft of fruit and nuts. Very meager hop note, but I’m getting to this a bit later than I probably should. I was unfair and I apologize for my poor behavior.

Taste: Bready maltiness, lightly toasty, blended with a restrained toffee-like sweetness, a swell of fruitiness, toasted cashew, and subtle spiciness from the lightly bitter Perle hops. The sweet maltiness and almost berryish fruitiness persists after the bitter subsides on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Just on the underside of medium carbonation.

Overall: Not perfect, but smooth, drinkable, served alongside some grilled cheddarwurst from local Heywood’s Provision.
