Bottle @ home. Pours hazy burnt copper with a huge, frothy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is toast, caramel, and bread malt with malt-derived fruits and earthy, spicy Noble hops. Flavor is malt dominant, light hops and bitterness, dried fruits and a dry finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation.

Botte. Orange and slightly cloudy with a small head.Medium body with lots of fruitiness. Some maltiness is also present. Not sure that this is really a Marzen but no matter what you call it, its pretty nice.

22oz bottle. Light amber color. Aroma of toasted malts, lagered smell. Oaked essences of vanilla. Flavor of vanilla oak, toasted grains, grassy hops. ABV is accurate, overall finishes like an Imperial Oktoberfest. Tastey. I’m favorite Westbrook, so far. (4119)

Prost to Germany, World Champions 2014

Draft. Deep amber color, tan head. Nice aroma of toasted brown biscuits. Taste is sweet, malty at first, then peppery toast. Very nice.

Tap at Craft. Amber golden brown colour, with small off-white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, brown bread malt, bit of brown sugar sweetness. Taste is interesting, bit pudding like, sweet, slightly fruity, caramel maltiness, apples maybe too and brown sugar. Quite nice. Uncomplicated.

11/8/13. On tap at Sweet Grass. Lightly hazed amber brown pour with a creamy khaki head that cuts in half but laces a ton. Malty aroma, a touch of char and roast, tannic in a way, lots of caramel, some chocolate. Nice malty flavor, creamy, light chocolate, caramel, a bit of a husk aspect. Tasty enough.

Draft at Westbrook. Burnt orange pour with a frothy white head. Toasted bready aroma, light caramel, toast, floral and grassy hop aroma. Flavor is similar, with a sort of toffee flavor and much more of a pronounced Noble hop character. Clean easy drinking with a nice bitterness. Good stuff.

22 ounce bottle thanks to James. Big pillowy carbonated pour. Too much! Taste is spicy hop. Malt. Much more nuanced than other Oktoberfests that just pour on the caramel. Nice.

Keg at CP&K. It pours hazy amber with a small yellowish-white head. The nose is lemon poppy seed caked, orange, bread, caramel and faint Irn Bru. The taste is orange sponge cake, caramel, wood, light varnish and zesty citrus with a dry, somewhat citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I found it rather flavoursome and well balanced. Tasty.
