COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

G?ste, oleiste niczym czekoladowy fondant rozp?ywa si? w ustach, pozostawiaj?c na podniebieniu ostry posmak chilli. Po pierwszym ?yku wyczuwalne nuty wanilii, karmelu, gorzkiej czekolady i lukrecji.

Bottle. Pours thick pitch black with tan creamy head. Aroma is caky! Cream, cinnamon, cinnamon bun, spicy, vanilla, cocoa, sweet and malty. Really got that habanero quick with heat and some fruitiness. Fruity chili and dry spices with some coffee, nuts and fudge. Some milk chocolate and brownie and hint of booze. Taste is sweet, cake, fudge, brownie, cinnamon bun, vanilla, cocoa powder with full rich body, very smooth and chocolatey. The it hits you with awesome kick of spicy habanero. Low carbonation. Finish is long with spicy cinnamon and everlasting chile heat. Boom!

Capolavoro! Spettacolare Imperial stout al peperoncino. Scura con schiuma marrone. In bocca perfezzione! Equilibrata dove piccantezza, amarezza e alcolicità si fondono pericolosamente. Molto beverina! Sapore di cioccolato al peperoncino con note liquorose eleganti. Da non perdrere! Bevuta alla spina

Dark, thick dark, nice wet sandy ring. Nose is sticky, spicy, rich, sweet - all good. Initial taste is softly spicy, but it’s slipping itself in pretty seriously. I can’t get over the pepperiness but it’s a lean and drinkable balance. Warming spices and lean roast. Carbonation is tough to judge from how spicy things are, but it’s viscous and the mouthfeel is lasting cloy. Finishes a really lean and greasy roast, lingers with some soy heat. Grrrrrrrreat.

Keg at Brewdog on a very warm day. Black, small foamy brown head. Aroma is vanilla, pepper, some coffee and roast malts. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is the expected cinnamon, vanilla and chili spice, all melding into each other. Touches of chewed bread and chocolate, with a little ash balancing out the sweetness. Long chili finish keeps it interesting throughout. This really is outstanding. Prefer it to the coffee version.
