COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

Pitch black color. The spice rack got thrown into the boil with tons of cinammon, habanero and vanilla in the nose with chocolate in the background. Mildly sweet, very spicy, tons of cinammon and vanilla. So spicy. Wonderful but like vanilla is a bit too much.

Gorgeous pour. Inky black and viscous with one finger of dark chestnut brown head. Nose is very very nice, rich and decadent with some upfront spicy heat, chocolate, vanilla, some toasted wood, and a touch of coffee. A noticeable pepper heat up front with some cinnamon spice and vanilla. Rich and chocolaty with a wonderful mouthfeel. Velvety and soft with a touch of heat on the finish.

On bottle @Valencia On Tap. Really impressive beer. Starts sweet with cacao and vanilla flavours. Just when it seems to be too sweet, the chili appears to give you hottness and cut the sweetness. The alcohol is not too present.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2016 Piwo ładnie prezentuje się w szkle, bujna drobna piana oblepiająca szkło, barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta. Z butelki czuć gorzką czekoladę, kakao i kawę naturalną. Po przelaniu aromat staje się bardziej złożony i intensywny - na pierwszym planie ciasto czekoladowe, kakao, kawa po wiedeńsku, prażone migdały, rum, w tle trufle, cynamon, wanilia. Bomba! W smaku wszystko to świetnie wyczuwalne, już w pierwszym łyku wita nas lekka słodycz tortu czekoladowego, całe morze kakao i piekąca papryka, co nieco psuje pierwsze wrażenie. Kolejne łyki potwierdzają dużą treściwość, wielowymiarowość i klasę trunku, choć papryczki nadal wściekle kąsają w język i podniebienie. Piwo jest wyklejające, gęste, lepkie, nisko nasycone. Goryczka obecna, choć jej poziom trudny do oszacowania z uwagi na pikantne bodźce habanero. W afterteasie można doszukać się tytoniowych nutek i wysokogatunkowych szwajcarskich wyrobów czekoladowych... Alkohol w likierowej formie, przyjemny.

Pours black with at tanned head. Smell of cinnamon, dark malts, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, a pletora of spices, amazingly complex. Heavy sweet, spicy, alot of chili punch, more cinnamon, more chocolate, more vanilla, dark malts. Alot of flavors that blends well. Maybe to a Mexican cake? Moderate bitter. Overall this an exquisite experience. World class beer

Bottle, 10.5%. Vanilla aroma. Black colour. Very small off-white head. The flavour is spicy and fruity with some vanilla and cinnamon and a nicely warming chili note. It burns a little but it is not painful or anything.

Black with small beige film. Coffee, chocolate and chili aroma. Choc and coffee flavour but then the chili takes over, resistance is futile... barely balanced. Every sip starts fruity and chocolaty but ends hot every time. Hhmmmm...

Black color with no head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla and toffee. Taste is sweet at first turning into spicy/ chili finish, but it’s not too much, you just get the feeling of the chili. Nice mixture of sweet and chili. A good one.

Bottle @ Rowdy Rebel Revel, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small but stable dark tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with malty and coffeelike notes and touches of chilli, cinnamon and smoke. Spicy flavour of pepper, with notes of vanilla and roast and coffeelike and malty touches. Spicy and estery aftertaste with powerful chilli notes. Good, but the habanero factor could be less conspicuous, please.

Bottle at THT thanks to Jeroen. Black with short lasting light brown head. Massive spices, banana bread, chilies, chocolate, old coffee, fudge, very sugary, vanilla, cinnamon, speculaas. Quite sweet with light bitter finish. Full bodied, soft but present carbonation and burning chili finish. Lovely.
