COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

Draught. Black no head. Aroma is light dust cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate cake. Flavor is that plus potent pepper spice. The sweetness just peaks through. Feel is intense. sticky & lively but mostly only in the spice and heat. Overrated but still good.

Phenomenal Imperial Stout. Multi-tiered assembly with all advertised flavors standing out on their own. Milk chocolate up front, followed by natural vanilla carried out by the cinnamon. Habanero nips at its heels with just the right amount of kick on the back of the tongue. Three bold flavors in three distinct acts. Bravo.

Dark pour form the tap. No head, moderate lacing. Aroma is very typical for an imperial stout. Flavor is complex, chocolate, vanilla and in the back of the throat a bit of pepper. An interesting brew.

Pours black with a bubbly, thick light brown head. Chocolate, roasted malts in the aroma fresh out of the pour. Chocolate, cinnamon, a hint of vanilla and roasted malts, finished out with a lingering heat on the swallow. Perfect balance of the peppers. Thick, mouth coating texture. Perfect stout mouthfeel. Really good stout. Perfect balance with the peppers, as I feel they must be a tricky ingredient to add. I’ve had beers where the heat from the peppers completely overshadow everything else. This isn’t one of them. Great stout.

Bottle from Lazy Dog. Pours an opaque dark brown with toffee colored head. Aroma of spices and coffee. Taste is really great, nice coffee and chocolate with a nice layer of spice that joins in later with a dash of vanilla.

Really complex flavors, and the "hit" of habanero spice is not overwhelming. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black pour. Big creamy dark tan head. Plenty of lacing. Huge chocolate aroma, some vanilla notes. Taste is a big chocolate cream. Vanilla and malt. A bit of spicy heat in the back. Very, very good.

Bottle: Pours a very deep brown, near opaque with a fading head and oily legs. WOW what an aroma of spice and sweet malts, just down right boner-riffic! The taste is pretty damn nice too with a good level of spice vs base beer with just the right amount of pepper heat on the lingering finish. Yea Beer!! As a beer buddy said... "Always nice when something you’ve been wanting for a long time lives up to what you imagine it to be."

Dark brown, light brown head. Aroma is overwhelmingly pepper heat. Taste is cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, and peppers. The peppers take center stage but are quite enjoyable. Good stuff.

Licorice anise in the nose. Tingly on the tongue. Great pepper taste and a sweet spicy finish. Very solid. Would love to try the BA version
