COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

22 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. The pour is a jet black, very oily with a dark cap of khaki head that falls to a collar with minimal lacing. The aroma is big on cinnamon. There is a light chili presence and a very light chocolate. It's pretty good, but I was hoping it would be a touch more complex. It's good, but I'd like a touch more. The flavor is good. Cinnamon bomb up front and it rolls through a decent chocolate into a heavy chili-induced spiciness. There isn't any roast that is detectable, and the chocolate is a little lax on the back end. The mouth feel is good and oily, but thinner than I want it to be. The aftertaste is lingeringly chili heat and just a touch of cinnamon. I wanted this to be better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ebone1988 (774) - Taylor, Michigan, USA - OCT 11, 2015
Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is wonderful, cinnamon, chilies, vanilla, chocolate. Appearance is black, thick, with a tan head. Taste is cinnamon forward, tons of chilies, light vanilla and chocolate. Mouthfeel is spicy, has a good carbonation, oily but very spicy. Overall, of the bunch of great cinnamon beers, this one is at the bottom. Still great, but pretty disappointing compared to Hunahpu and Abraxas.

750, capped. Thanks r! What a crazy treat. Pours an opaque black with a dense and creamy dark tan head. Big intense dark chocolate nose, smells like a high percentage, high quality dark chocolate with cocoa notes. Sticky thick body with soft carb. Intense dark chocolate on the mid palate with a late creeper cayenne nkte that warmz the back of the mouth for a good while in the aftertaste. Wonderful.

1 pt 6 fl oz bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 01-10-2015.
Bottled: 08-05-2015.
In short: spicy hot Imp. Stout.
Pours very dark, almost black with little tan head. Short head retention, some lacing. Cocoa, vanilla, spicy nose. Full body, soft carbonation, viscous texture. Taste is spicy, dark chocolate, vanilla, some hot flavors that linger for so long. Hot palate only detected after a while. very well integrated flavours and blanced beer. Very enjoyable.

Marduk (4780) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 1, 2015
750ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Pitch black color. Small size, brown head, stays. Cinnamon, crumbly chocolate cake, dusty, bit buttery in aroma. Chocolate cake, vanilla, bit metallic, hot chilly in taste. Chilly chocolate cake in aftertaste. Harsh to drink. Everything is nice, but unbalanced. Messy, but drinkable brew.

660ml bottle (300e of overpriced beer tasting) - thanks martjoobolut!
Nice thick heavy sticky chocolate cake icing aroma, just a bit of cinnamon - yum! Huge chilli burn immediately in the mouth, but chilli doesn’t scare me. Otherwise the palate is very thick and heavy. Nice coconutty chocolate cake taste, with vanilla icing. Finish has the expected big hot burn. This turns into a gimmick very quickly. There might be a good beer behind the chilli, but alas they decided to hide it too well.
