COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

I have been looking forward to this one for a long time and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Black pour with a brown head. The aroma is just amazing. I get some big chocolate and cinnamon notes that really stand out and make this stout unique. The flavor is just as good if not better. The chocolate and cinnamon notes are once again present, as is a big splash of vanilla. The best part of the beer might be the peppers, which add not only a bit to the flavor, but also a nice amount of heat that complements the other flavors, rather than overwhelming them like a lot of the crappy pepper beers do. I love mole chicken and a lot of the notes I get in that dish are present in this beer, which is simply outstanding. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Definitely one of my top beers of 2014 and one I hope I get to try again in the future.

Bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, peppers, cinnamon. Flavor starts spicy with chili peppers, chocolate, some vanilla. Peppery heat in the finish. Really awesome beer.

Bomber. This is spicy thick awesome sauce. I have been waiting a long time to get my hands on it and was happy to find it on a bottle list at a local watering hole.

Oily black pour. Smell is chocolate, chile, cocoa. Taste is tart, dark chocolate, roasted malt with some definite heat in the finish. Full body. Somewhat quick finish that falls off and oddly tart. Good, but not nearly as balanced or tasty as bomb or bible belt.

bomber from trade. Chugged this bitch straight from the bottle in under 2 minutes. Hot, hot heat. Very much like prairie bomb but less boozy and more spicy pepper heat. Very nice. Doughy. Sweet. Buzzed quick.

2014 bomber in trade from Homer321. Thanks buddy! Pours pitch black and viscous with a super creamy one finger mocha head that sticks around a good bit. Aroma of chocolate and roast with light spices and a definite cinnamon note. Flavor is big chocolate notes, more roast than others in the style, with beautiful use of cinnamon and vanilla. Chili pepper heat is subtle just like it should be. Nice heavy mouthfeel but not near syrupy, with medium to lower carbonation (right on for the style). Man this is good. Better than Bomb, not as good as Hunahpu 2014, and maybe better than Abraxas. Now to get my hands on the Apple Brandy version!

Leveejr (109) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2014
Pours a black color with khaki head. Smells of roasted malt, peppers, chocolate and light cinnamon. Big roasted malt and bitter chocolate taste with slight cinnamon that transitions to a tingling heat on the back. Excellent beer. On par with prairie bomb! But not as flavor intense as Hunahpu was ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle. Dark brown color, medium tan head. Great roasted malt aroma. Full bodied with a nice roasted malt flavor with an amazing flavor transition leading to a great finish.

Salmoniform (1012) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - JUL 3, 2014
Poured from bottle to teku. Dark hue with fizzy brown head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is malt, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, pepper spice. Mouthfeel is nice with medium body and fizzy carbonation. Taste is sweet initially with a nice astringent following and a spicy ethanol finish. Overall this is amazing!
