COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy birthday to us! To celebrate our first year as a brewery we brewed a serious imperial stout and aged it on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and fresh habanero peppers. This is the first offering in our annual Anniversary series. Here’s to many more!

So stoked for this. 2015 vintage. Pours dark cola with a decent dark khaki colored head. The aroma is so awesome on this. Sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla, spice, coffee, alcohol, crumbly coffee cake, so nice. The taste is sweet up front up with a blast of chocolate and vanilla, then the malt hits, then the peppers. The alcohol is well hidden. It's great. It's thick and oily in the mouth. One of the best examples of this style I've ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Pours deep brown nearly black with an average tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and spicy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied oily texture and soft carbonation. A excellent Impy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

On Tap at The Southern Growl. Really good taste, amazing aroma, and enjoyed the hint of hot taste at the end of every sip.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2015 On tap at the Brick Store, for their 18th anniversary. Pitch black color, with almost no head. Nose is cocoa powder, hot peppers, coffee, molasses, and cinnamon. Big roasted bitterness and pretty sweet, with a relatively mild warming spice. Heavy body, creamy, and very grainy and sharp. This is a very nice, well balanced spiced stout, with a fantastic nose, and lovely body.

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla - with a lot of chili in the finish. Could have been a lot better without the cinnamon.

A: Coffee, vanilla, cocoa, hint of port wine, dried fruit, almond, cinnamon T: Cocoa, cinnamon, heat from habanero! O: WOW! The cocoa hits straight away followed by the clear cinnamon and the habanero bring the heat in the end. Lots of heat! Hard to find the vanilla, but this is really my cup of beer! Lovely!

Dark black pour with a tiny tan head. Big cinnamon chocolate nose. A bit of heat, cinnamon, bitter chocolate. More spicy than I was prepared for. Cool.

Draft at the brewery. Wow, this is great beer! Aromas sweet malts, spice and vanilla. Flavors are vanilla, chocolate, malty sweetness with a spicy kick in the finish. Not too spicy like I feared.

Tap. Pours opaque black with thin, tan head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, vanilla, peppers, spices, and faint booze. Flavor matches the nose and is extremely layered, complex, and balanced. Medium/full body.
