Draught at CBC. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Nice vanilla notes. Heavy bitter flavor. Chocolate and vanilla notes. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Black with a nice creamy head. This beer was the greatest suprise at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration. A lot of coffee both in the aroma and taste. Sweet with bitter chocolate, some spices and toffee. Who needs dessert when you can have a beer like this? Really excellent stuff!

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is coffee herbal, vanilla and dark malty. Smooth vanilla, caramelish and light fruity. Bitter and dark roasted malty. Smooth.

Tap at CBC. Looking good- near ink. Mocha head. Nose is rich as hell Peruvian dark chocolate/cocoa block with heavy vanilla and spice. Oh yeah. Taste is very nice- ultra rich ganache and thick dark chocolate fudge. Bitter chocolate balances rich dessert profile. Holy monkeyyyy.

Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours pitch black with a small creamy chocolate brown head that quickly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet with coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol and prunes. Taste is sweet and bitter with coffee, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, toffee, orange zest, raisins, fruity chili and hints of pine. Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy and full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with coffee, fudge, vanilla, wood and pine. Very nice!

Draft at CBC. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma is massive coffee with chocolate, roasted malts, and vanilla. Flavour has same aspects as aroma, also with some spices and pepper, and balances out the coffee heavy aroma nicely. Body is full and carbonation is low.

Fad: Kulsort øl med et lille skumhoved. Sødlig let sur duft med masser af kaffe. Fungerer ok. Smagen er kaffe og ekstrem sødme, næsten over the top. Men jeg kan lide det. God øl.

Aroma has vanilla, some mocha coffee and hints of cocoa. Flavour is sweetish with vanilla and mocha. Dry finish with some alcohol. Becomes spicy at the middle of the glass, but no chili burning here.
