Draught @ CBC2013. Pours hazy dark reddish brown with a big creamy brownish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, tiny sour, malty and fruity with sweet dark bread, toffee, red wine, moist wood, dried dark fruits, blueberries, caramel, biscuits and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, tiny sour, malty and fruity with sweet dark bread, moist wood, roasted nuts, biscuits, toffee, caramel, lots of red wine, raisins, prunes, dates and hay. Mouthfeel is round, soft, tiny boozy, tiny tart and near full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, tiny sour and fruity with dark bread, raisins, figs, dates, red wine, moist wood, roasted nuts and biscuits.

On tap at CBC, pours an amber-tinged dark brown / near-black with a large tan head. Aroma of prominent red wine notes, some caramel sweetness, and dry bready notes. Flavour brings out very prominent red wine notes atop anything, and some dry dark fruits. Very vinous and dry fruity. The red wine notes don’t dominate as much as on the bourbon barrel edition. Complex and elegant. Great stuff.

Fat på CBC 2013. Riktig fin. Smak och doft av humle, malt, ekfat, vanilj och mörkfrukt som russin, plommon och aprikos,. Frisk och syrlig med bourbonkaraktär. Lagom söt med fin beska.

Tap at CBC 2013. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of tart fruit, roast, chocolate, light molasses. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic, light bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Draught at CBC 2013. Very dark brown beer with a nice beige head. Oak and vanilla aroma, yeasty, raisins, dades, floral, peach, sourish, sugary. Sourish fruity flavor, vinous, caramel, pear, yeasty, vanilla, oak notes, biscuits.
