COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our single-hop rye pale ales are created to showcase the flavor and aromas of individual hop varieties. The grain recipe is kept the same and only the type of hop is changed from batch to batch. Nelson Sauvin is a hop native to New Zealand that has a bold, fruity flavor similar to Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

Bottle at olbutikken. It pours clear orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is oily, pithy citrus, grapefruit, tinned pineapple, rye and pepper. The taste is grainy, rye, hay, some bitterness, pithy citrus, grapefruit, orange, tart white grape and a touch of pepper with a dry, pithy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit grainy and touch too thin for my liking. Nice, but not up to the usual high standards of WB.

Embotellada: 2012-09-17 Cobriza y turbia, con algún resto de levadura. Coronada por una capa de espuma color hueso de fina burbuja que termina por desaparecer. Aromas a fruta: pera y uva.

From tap. Pours a hazy orange color with nice white head that lingered. Aroma was all citrus on the grapefruit side. Taste was all fruity IPA with a wonderful aftertaste.

Tap at Crowbar, april 30th 2013. Hazy golden, with a frothy with head. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, pine, very fruity. Taste is mostly exotic fruits, notes of yeast, and straw. Extremely dry and refreshing, nice bitterness, not too high but still very present. A very good Nelson Pale Ale

Draught @ Jerntorgets Brygghus. Pours very hazy vibrant orange with a creamy and frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny spicy with crackers, rye bread, mango, pineapple, passionfruit, watermelon, white grapes, freshly cut grass, pink grapefruit juice, lemon zest, grapefruit rinds, lemon grass, black pepper corns, wood, pine needles and hints of resin. Mouthfeel is round, soft, tiny creamy, tiny oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and slightly fruity with crackers, rye bread, white and black pepper corns, unripe tropical fruits, citrus zest, pine needles and hints of resinous wood.
