Several cans during a camping trip with the fellas. Stream temp pour delicately into a metal camp mug. Aromas of nice rye spice, bright grapefruit. Tate is fresh citrus, grapefruit and nicely integrated rye spiciness. Really, really nice pale.

Smells of some malt yeast and spice. Maybe peppery ish spice from the rye. A bit cloudy and saison like look. Funky barnyard hop flavor with a dry finish. Light on the palate. Not super full flavored. Could use more balance and not a big fan of the barnyard like hop profile. Not something I would buy again.

By far the best thing I have tasted from Westbrook. Pours a hazy orange color- not much head retention. Nose is citrus, pine and spicy wheat. Taste is well balanced with the hops hitting the right notes and the rye giving it an aura of je-ne-sais-croix. Finish is a nice dry with the citrus lingering. A really good beer. Had from a can but intend to try on tap at the brewery.

Cloudy amber with a lot of chunky sediment. Big juicy hop aroma. There’s a touch of toast in the finish from the malt. This is a very tasty rye pale ale.

Poured a darker yellow from the can with aromas of light tart fruit and some spicy rye. Flavors are the same, lingers on the palate and makes you want more after each sip. Another solid beer from these guys.

Can from Cannibal West shared with Brendan. Pours a hazy orange with nice white lacing. Aroma is nice mix of light funky fruits and citrus hops. Mouthfeel is super sessionable with notes of citrus fruits, light funky wheat and light spice - I’m guessing the rye. Great.

Ctown dinner. Hazy yellow, did not pick up much aroma except for some grapefruit. The flavor is where this shines, with delicate apricot, rose, and grapefruit notes all mingling together with a finish that is clean and satisfying. Hard to believe this is rye-based. Perfect pairing with my duck confit.

small off white head with short retention and a thin lace. Hazy, gold/copper hued brew. Nose of citrus and pine, juicy and inviting. Body is Lightly medium with a slightly prickly carbonation and a bit of resin. Green hop flavors, citrus thats tangy and fruity with a little bit of spice and some biscuity malts, hint metallic. Dry finish with a decent bite. Props to my bro Bill for bringing these up to me for the thanksgiving dinner. Thanks Billy!

Color ámbar turbio con espuma blanca. Aromas de pino y resinas. En boca es ligera y entra cargada de sabores lupulados de pino y resinas que van aportando un amargor seco, intenso y duradero. Del centeno no me he enterado. Como APA está muy rica.
