3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Brick Store Pub Sweet Sixteen Party. Pours a hazy yellow color, with a big, off-white head. Nice floral hop aroma up front, with some white bread, citrus, and rye. Nice hop bitterness, with some good malt backbone, and a little spiciness. Medium body, silky, and astringent. Overall, this is a nice pale ale.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Smooth, creamy texture, juicy grapefruit taste that ends in a bitterdry finish (not unlike tonic water). Decent.

Canned. Pours a hazy golden yellow. Aroma is lots of nice lemon and orange. Very fresh. Flavor is hops and citrus with a distinct biscuit malt backbone. Balance is the key word here.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Rye ales can become ‘cerealy’ and too reminiscent of a bowl of Shreddies when overdone. One Claw is subtly rye influenced with lots of hops to balance. Clean and rich with lots of citrusy, grassy hops.
Grapefruit, mango and guava flood the palate. A superb rye pale at just the perfect ABV.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Growler from the brewery. Pours hazy dark orange/amber. Great aroma on this. I’m guessing Columbus or Citra. Rye is potent too. Very clean and rich flavor. Hops stand out nicely as does the healthy dose of rye. Finish is citrusy, spicy and smooth. Excellent rye pale.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can... Pours hazy and deep yellow with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is a fruity, spicy blend of grapefruit, passion fruit, peppery hops and spicy grain. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. Lots of spicy, rindy and citrusy bitterness in the flavor. Lengthy, bitter finish. Can courtesy of growler!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
can @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Cloudy dirty golden amber with a frothy 1/2" head, fluffly bands of lace. Aroma of appealing malt and pine hops. Taste is full-bodied caramel malt that is overshadowed by pine hops midway through the palate, sliding to the finish with both sides represented. A big, thick, chewy taste, good stuff.
