3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Brick Store Pub Sweet Sixteen Party. Pours a hazy yellow color, with a big, off-white head. Nice floral hop aroma up front, with some white bread, citrus, and rye. Nice hop bitterness, with some good malt backbone, and a little spiciness. Medium body, silky, and astringent. Overall, this is a nice pale ale.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from Beermoth, Manchester. Cloudy, lumpy, dirty, pale orange colour. Thin, white head. Ripe mandarin. Tinned fruit salad. Light toffee maltiness. Taste is pink grapefruit sweet. Light bitterness at first, that builds. I really could drink this all day.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
SC#1 courtesy of Columbus Circle Whole Foods, NYC. Sky Blue can split at home with the other half. Hefeweizen haze with a dense but subsiding white collar. Fresh, slightly saline aroma with Brewdogesque juicy mandarin and guava over chunky honeyed grain. Smooth and again saline with less assertive hop on the palate; watery guava and rust,
some stewed green, Darjeeling and honey. Flattening, nearly dead condition. Pleasant if a little flat and metallic. One for the kayak maybe.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Warner Robins, Ga - Lazy Dog Growler - 12 oz can. Hazy medium golden pour, initial white bubbly head. fades away. Aroma has some minty rye accents, a touch of clove. Flavor is bitter with a heavy rye presence, some odd oregano-like spiciness, some citrus bitter undertones. Full-bodied to say the least. Thick, full mouthfeel. Above average.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can: Nose is tropical fruit, lots of mango, pineapple, a little caramel, hop flowers. It settled into strong peach. Taste is softer than expected, grass, light citrus, biscuit, very light rye despite the name, gently bitter finish.
A very drinkable session beer.

from Erzbierschof; canned - cloudy darkblond beer with a little white foam left; solid fruity hoppiness where notes of mango and apricot dominate; light spicy notes; a good malt backbone, some astringency, very assertive and very bitter; very dry and long fruity hoppy finish -refreshing and with a lot of character; great stuff

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from icehawk. Thanks! This pours a hazy gold color out of the can with a thin eggshell head. Minimal lacing. A fresh citrus and floral scent has me looking forward to drinking this. There’s tangerine, grapefruit, mango fruit noted. Light lemongrass and biscuity malt. Going down this is rather light and clean. Some gentle bitterness strikes the palate and a touch dry in the finish. Mostly citrusy hops here, as noted in the aroma, with subtle notes of grass, biscuit, and rye. Honestly, the rye could be missed if not for the name of the beer. This is one of those hoppy refreshing beers that can probably be consumed in fairly large quantities, which is okay by me.
