COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For our Second Anniversary beer, we tapped into the legendary fictional adventures of the mythical Capín Skoon to bring you this monster Baltic Stout. Itís big and roasty like an Imperial Stout but fermented with a German lager yeast. Ideal for sipping now, or be like the Capín and stash some away in your cargo hold for the years to come. Cheers!

Bottle shared at Hunaphu Day. Black pour with a creamy tan head. Nose displays creamy chocolate, vanilla beans, espresso and earth. Nicely melded flavors that mimicked the aroma. Medium heavy bodied and low carbonation

Bottle from JCB. Thanks! Deepest of black pour with orange-tan head. Nose is a mix of dark, bitter chocolate, roast malt, vanilla cream, caramel, molasses, and faint, floral dark fruits. Flavor is decadent dark chocolate, light caramel syrup, toffee, dark fruit that finishes with a mildly ashy roast and more chocolate. Some alcohol notes throughout. Truly a big, coating mouthfeel. Lingering dark chocolate covered sweet caramel and dark fruit. This is a monster indeed. Highly recommended.

Bomber pours a dark brown/black with a medium reddish tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, leather, sweet wet tobacco, caramel, and alcohol, reminds me of wet dog food. Taste of sweet chocolate, mild dark fruits, finishing with dry leather tobacco and coffee. Nice!

Bottle thanks to wyzzywyz22, good night at his. Poured a dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of sweet chocolate malts, nice boozy notes. Flavour is more chocolate, roasted malts, hints of fruit. Has nice notes of alcohol that compliment it well. Good stuff.

22 oz. bottle from The Greenville Beer Exchange, Greenville, SC (bottled December 18, 2012). Pours black with a rich brown head. Aroma of cocoa, roasty malts, and a hint of dark fruit. The flavor is rich with heavy amounts of roasted espresso, bitter chocolate, and roasted malt with a hint of dark fruit on the finish. Recommended chaser, a gallon of water. While heavy, the flavor is outstanding and this is one of the finest Baltic porterís I have tried.

Bottle at the Triad bottle share at Foothills organized by Mike. Dark chocolate heavy with a nice warming grainy presence. Borders on feeling hot at times. Solid.

Aromas of roasty malts, chocolate, vanilla, and nutty tones. Dark brown-black with a small, tan head. Mostly dry with hints of malty sweetness, quite a savory beer. Medium-full bodied with average carbonation, and finishes with pleasant, clean, roasty flavors.

Bomber. Pours deep black with a creamy, dark tan head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is chocolate, very dark roast espresso, and a bit of mint. Taste is dark chocolate mocha. Very rich but surprisingly (and pleasantly) dry. The higher ABV is rather subdued and really sneaks up. One of the best beers Iíve had in awhile.
