750ml bottle shared by JohnGonk. Poured a hazy straw color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma and taste mimic each other with notes of funk, sour lemon, hay, and grain. Lots of fizzy carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour out of bottle, hazy golden yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, corn, biscuit, hints of sour lemon, touch of some slight funky notes with a touch of earth. Taste was a mix of corn, grain, husky notes into a bit of spice, earthy yeast into a bit of tart lemon, finishing slightly dry.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle... Cloudy straw-colored pour with a small, wispy, quickly-dissipating, white head. The aroma is bready, soapy, lemony and tangy. Light to medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is tart, bready and lemony with a crisp, clean finish. Bottle courtesy of burg326!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle share at Hampton Inn pre-DLD party. Pour is hazy golden with some white lacing. Aroma and flavor are both of sour lemons, earth, grass, wheat, and funk. Medium bodied. Not my favorite style but this is a good representation of it.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of the best Berliners Ive had. Great lemony sharp tartness. Some peach and wheat. Hugely refreshing and great. Very reminiscent of the Gose.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer is pale golden with a thick, hissing, white head that fades rapidly. The aroma brings lemons, grass, grain. A decent amount of tartness with some acidity in the finish. Pleasant puckering mouth feel. Light in body with ample carbonation. A solid example of the style.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a golden color. Big sour aroma for a Berliner. Sour carries into flavor. Smooth sour balanced with wheat malt flavor, tartness in the finish, very nice overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle served in a Westbrook snifter. Bottled 3/29/13. Thanks to rnorgart for the bottle!
A: This gushed on the initial pop so watch out. Pours a hazy peach color with a quick dissolving white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin ring. No lace is left down the glass.
S: Cracked wheat with a soft sweetness to it. Very light acidic background to it with a slight hint of cheese.
T: Slight hints of lemon grass with a sweet wheat background. Slightly tart with just the slightest hint of cheese. The mix of sweetness, tartness and funk is enough to keep everything interesting.
M: Light bodied with a high carbonation level. The finish is slightly wheat-like.
O: Light, refreshing, and bubbly. The drinkability is spot on and the flavor profile isn’t far behind. Definitely enjoyed drinking this.
