This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

hazy gold, thin white ring, oily. Spiced wheat cuts sweetness, salty note reminds of oyster, cedary cigar box. Flavor is similar, toned down lightly but heavy coin through sugary orange candy finish.

Cloudy yellow color with a two finger head with medium retention. Light sour aroma with hints of lemon, wheat and lemongrass notes. Flavor is different than a regular witbier given it is a bit sour and it has hints of lemongrass and a distant ginger, as opposed to focus on the regular coriander and orange peel. You can also feel the Sorachi hops and lemon-orange notes. Light body with medium carbonation. Very refreshing and pleasant. If you pair that with very spicy foods, you will be in heaven. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can @ home, courtesy of cinefreak7. Thanks Justin! Pours a cloudy, light yellow appearance with a beautiful, lasting white head. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Aroma reminds me a bit of Dogfish Head Namaste with a notable lemongrass element. Somewhat spicy yeasty, lemon citrusy, soft, inviting aroma. Fairly herbal, grassy, a touch chewy, lemon, ginger, a bit earthy, slightly tangy, sweet wheat flavor. Well balanced and easy drinking. Nothing crazy good but a nice wheat beer.

(Keg at William K Kurvi, 20130618) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, fruitiness, ground coriander and malts. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, caramell, malts, Belgian style yeast, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A quite cofusing wit: the aroma was somewhere there but the taste was from some othet style.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Cloudy pale yellow with a lasting white head. Yeasty aroma with perfumed spices, lots of ginger. Dry and spicy flavour, simply too much. Quite a bit of yeast in the aftertaste
