3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale golden color out of the can with a foamy white head. Bright spicy nose with some ginger and citrus notes. The spices follow through into the flavor with ginger, coriander, and some lemon zest. There is some raw bread dough and some yeast notes, but it is mostly spice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is hazy golden yellow with a tight white head and decent lacing. Nose is a fair bit of lemon, light yeast note, and a hint of pepper, some grassy, herbal hops in back. Taste has more spice to it, lemony up front with a hint of banana. Stronger pepper spice comes in behind, flavors thin out a little bit through the finish, grassy hop, a bit herbal. Strong carbonation and a lighter body.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from BottleSelect.com. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma seems a mix of fruit and ginger. Near med body. Flavor is a little malty, some fruit and citrus, and a slight touch of gingeriness. It’s quite different from a typical wit.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy saffron yellow, with creamy white head. Bitter lemon on the nose, belgian yeast, crackerbread and a unique savoury note, provided by the ginger. Sorachi ace hop is dominant in both taste and aroma. Lemon meets tongue, palate is a little watery at first before spicy and herbal notes takeover. Has a lingering ginger bitterness. Fairly dry finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nose is Witbier-tyical, probably a bit smoother. The beer starts not as a typical Witbier - at the first sip you notice that there is something different - no orange peel or coriander. But that it is lemon grass and ginger is hard to taste. Probably the sharpness of the ginger in the background and the freshness of the lemon grass in the beginning - but all only ver subtle. The mainpart is a bit unround, sharp. And there is (for me) the round freshness of the "normal" Witbier missing. The aftertaste is a bit pale, on the one hand Witbier-typical sharp and dry, on the one hand little hot due to the ginger. This aroma lasts on the tongue very long.
Interesting brew, but I like the "normal" Witbier better, as it is for me more round and has a bit more deepness in aroma. --> 10/12/9/10

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Overall a good but disappointing beer. It's a wit/hefe style, with notes of banana, clove, bready malt. I was really looking hard for the lemongrass and ginger, but couldn't find it. Very drinkable, but kinda bland and didn't deliver on what it said it would.
